Alexander Sundermann, MPH, CIC is an infection preventionist at UPMC Presbyterian hospital.  Alex has a B.S. in Microbiology from the University of Rochester and graduated in 2014 from the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health with an M.P.H in Infectious Diseases and Microbiology.  He is currently working on his doctorate of Public Health in epidemiology part time at Pitt.  Alex actively volunteers as an EMT at a local Pittsburgh service where he grew up.
