Bonnie Colaianne, RN, MSN, CNL, CIC is the Corporate Infection Prevention and Control Coordinator for UPMC. Since 1980, she has worked for UPMC St. Margaret, UPMC Presbyterian, The Riverview School District, Career Connections Charter High School and at her current position with the Donald D. Wolff, Jr. Center for Quality, Safety and Innovation at UPMC. Her positions have included Medical-Surgical Nursing, Critical Care Nursing, Radiology Nursing, School Nursing, IV/PICC Team and Infection Prevention and Control.
Bonnie received her RN from St. Margaret School of Nursing in 1980, her BSN from Carlow University in 2001 and her MSN from the University of Pittsburgh in 2009. She obtained her Certification as a Clinical Nurse Leader and her Certification in Infection Control in 2010.
Organizational affiliations include Sigma Theta Tau National Honor Society of Nursing, The Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America (SHEA), The Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology, Inc. (APIC), Three Rivers Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (TRAPIC) and The South Western Pennsylvania Organization of Nurse Leaders.
